TERRY'S FISHING, LAKE & ICE REPORT
2/11/2026 Ice is now 22 to 27 inches bridge is out so you can get to the Mud Flats with trucks and wheel houses. Live bait we have shiners, sucker minnows, fatheads. wax worms and eurolarve. A lot of small walleyes are still very active the larger walleyes have been caught mainly on shiners and sucker minnows. Jigging with the head of a fathead on a jigging spoon has been luring the fish in and then they hit the shiner or sucker minnow. Some Jumbo Perch are being caught in the 28 to 32 foot depths along the edges of the flats. Walleyes are being caught in the bays, rock points and sides and tops of the mud flats. Last day for walleye fishing is February 22.
BOAT HARBOR & PROTECTED MARINA
Private boats launch in our protected marina with the deepest concrete ramps on Mille Lacs. When you launch your boat at Terry’s if you incur problems on the lake we will come to your rescue and even tow you in if need be. Your vehicles are safe in our private parking lot that we constantly watch. The majority of the public accesses on Mille Lacs are shallow, rocky and have a high rate of vandalism when people are out on the lake.

Some fish house rentals have bathrooms inside, others have heated Satellite facilities nearby. Better lake access to the following Mud Flats, 7-Mile,8- Mile, 9-Mile, Sherman’s Seguchie, .Rock Pile, Banana, Buster’s, and Curly’s. Additional roads in St. Albans Bay and to Seguchie and Browns point. With all fish house rentals we include a road pass to our extensive winter road system.

As Minnesotans, we love Ice Fishing and with the winter season, ice road pass you have lake access to our extensive winter road system. Our roads are plowed wide and provide access to some of the best fishing spots and Mud Flats on Mille Lacs lake.
