1/25/2026 The cold this past week kept most of the fisherman away. The few that went out did catch fish despite the cold. The bays, rock points and shoreline rock piles continue to produce walleyes, northern pike and some jumbo perch. Percentage wise the bays and rocks are producing more keeper walleyes than the flats. The flats are producing a lot of small walleyes some jumbo perch and tullibee’s. For minnows we still have shiners, pike suckers and fatheads. 01/16/2026 Ice is now 17 to 19 inches thick. There is now a bridge over the pressure ridge so travel by truck and wheel house is possible to the mud flats. There is no longer any restrictions on truck and wheel house size. There is not enough snow to plow roads so make sure if you plan on going to the mud flats that you have a GPS. We have the following minnows for sale shiners, suckers and fatheads. A lot of small walleyes are being caught along with some keeper size walleyes and some jumbo perch.
