1/13/2022 The ice has improved most of the ice in St. Albans Bay is 14 to 15 inches thick. The ice going to the flats is 16 to 19 inches thick. We plowed roads in the bay and out to Curly’s Flat and the Rock pile flat. The roads to the flats are not as wide as are roads normally are because of places where we hit water. Roads where we exposed the water should freeze this coming week and allow us to widen them and hopefully plow to more flats.

10-3-2021 This past week the big small mouth bass bite was very good. On the launch we caught a lot of bass between 20 and 22 inches on the deep rocks. The walleye bite is getting better especially after dark. As the water temperature drops the walleye bite will keep getting better. The water temperature today was 65, when the water temperature gets in the fifties is when the bite gets really good. October 10 will be the last day for Launch fishing this year.
