As of today the main lake is wide open. There is ice in Cove bay, Wahkon and Isle bay and some people have been walking out to fish. With the 10 day forecast of above normal temperatures there is no way of predicting when we will be able to drive trucks on the lake. It looks like the best we can hope for would be some time in January 2021. Because of Covid-19 we have made the decision that we are not going to rent fish houses this winter. There is no way in a fish house when you have a number of people inside that you can abide by the CDC minimum distant requirement of six feet. Because of limited inside space of a fish house, even the largest ones if one person has Covid they will almost certainly spread it to everyone in the fish house
