6/18/2026 Walleye fishing continues to be good with the best bite being between 9pm and 10pm. Size wise the fish being caught are small to large. The number of slot fish being caught is different every night some nights quite a few other nights only a few. The smaller fish are biting every night and it does not matter if you are on the rock points or out on the mud flats. The inshore fishing has slowed down the majority of the fish are now out on the mud flats. The day time walleye bite has been very good for those who have live scopes and know how to use them. Those without live scopes are still catching fish just not as many. Baits that are working the best are night crawlers and leeches. Small mouth bass fishing continues to be good on the rock points, reefs and some of the weed beds. Northern Pike and Musky fishing has been slow. The days with the strong winds have made fishing tougher than on the days with the light winds.
